The International DUO Competition „Suzana Szörenyi”

At first glance, any competition is associated with the idea of rivalry, rankings, or a hierarchical scale. In the case of a music competition, however, the contest transforms into a celebration of beauty. The “Suzana Szörenyi” International Duo Competition is an event with a deeply unifying significance.
RULES
The 5th edition of the International Duo Competition "Suzana Szörenyi" 2025 includes three sections:
1. DUO LIRICO-DRAMATIC (Voce - Pian)
2. PIANISTIC DUO (4 hands and 2 pianos)
HOBBY DUO (amateurs)
The first two sections take place over three stages, while the Hobby section consists of a single stage. Any instrumental or vocal duo with piano may participate in the Hobby section.

FIRST STAGE (eliminatorie): 12-13 octombrie 2025 (UNMB)
SEMIFINAL (eliminatory): October 15–16, 2025 (UNMB)
FINAL:
18 octombrie 2025 - DUO LIRICO-DRAMATIC (sala Auditorium - MNAR)
19 octombrie 2025 - DUO PIANISTIC (Ateneul Român)
HOBBY Section: The schedule will be announced after the registration period ends.
Draw for competition order: October 11, 2025, at UNMB.

Signing the registration form represents the agreement for audio-video recording and the transfer of related rights to the organizers.
Amateurs are those who are not enrolled in an accredited music education institution or have not graduated from such an institution.
The registration fee is non-refundable in case of non-participation.
Accommodation and meal expenses are covered by the participants.

The jury's decisions are final.
The jury reserves the right not to award all the prizes.
